The Fun of Living Together ~ How We Can at Last Fix America’s Racial Problems
Roberta Grimes, Esq., and her co-author, Kelley Glover, have determined that America’s racial issues entirely trace to our botched emancipation amid the chaos of a disastrous Civil War. And understanding what is wrong is half of fixing the problem! In this interactive workshop Roberta and Kelley will guide participants through a deeper understanding of how emancipation should have been done, how and why it failed, and why every attempt that has been made over the past 150 years to address the symptoms of our botched emancipation has failed to do much to make things better, and actually has spawned even more problems. Roberta and Kelley will explore what our options are, and why doing the right thing about race now is the single most productive action this country can take to create for all Americans a better future.
If not us, who? If not now, when?
