Angel Wash

The Angel Wash is a healing/connecting experience  that washes all participants in the spiritual energy generated by the participants. With the energy the symposium will develop and the presence of many energized people, it should be a meaningful experience.  According to Brugh Joy, MD, the energy of a group can be equal to the square of the number of participants so you can imagine the energy!  Mark Pitstick has facilitated angel washes with over two hundred people at Gulf Shores, Alabama.  He led a group of 80 in an Angel Wash at Dr. Brian Weiss’ seminar; it was another peak experience.

The Angel Wash works like this.  Two lines of people face each other with just enough space in between for someone to walk through.  The leaders start people through this “healing gauntlet” at timed intervals.  The group treats recipients as the precious Divine-Humans they are.  Old layers of “crud”—illusions, pain, fears, and misunderstandings—can be gently and lovingly washed away.

The group sends unconditional love, mental healing, and energies of trust and hope while (as they feel comfortable) hugging, touching, whispering positive words, balancing chakra energies, etc.  Recipients walk slowly with their eyes closed during the five minute experience.  At the end, they are greeted with a big hug and then join the line to bless the next recipient.

Throughout the experience, the song “How Could Anyone?” by Shaina Noll is played.  This anthem of universal acceptance, empowerment, and love further cements the group experience and paves the way for instant feelings of unity. I know of no other group interaction that so deeply touches and connects previous “strangers” while breaking through the illusion of separateness.

On Sunday afternoon, there will be three workshops not included in the registration fee for the symposium. The workshops and fees follow.

Suzanne Giesemann Workshop ~ Living in the United States of Awareness ~ Sunday, September 17, 2-4 p.m., Fee: $40

“Living in the United States of Awareness” was designed with Spirit’s help to align you with your highest self through practical exercises that teach you to reduce pain and suffering and find the freedom and joy that are your birthright. It contains powerful new tools to help you shift to a more balanced state in which your human identity merges with the identity of your eternal soul.

Roberta Grimes Workshop ~ Liberating Jesus and The Fun of Growing Forever ~ Sunday, September 17, 2-4 p.m., Fee: $25

Roberta Grimes will hold a workshop discussing the messages in her two books, Liberating Jesus and The Fun of Growing Forever. She will discuss the new spirituality that is evolving from our knowledge of the afterlife and the true understanding of the person and teachings of Jesus.

Rochelle Wright Training ~ Repair & Reattachment Grief Therapy ~ Sunday, September 17, 2-8 p.m. and Monday, September 18, 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Rochelle Wright, M.S., LMHC, CDP, NCC, EMDR Certified, will be conducting a two-day training program for state-licensed psychotherapists teaching the Repair & Reattachment Grief Therapy method that enables clients to connect with the loved ones for whom they are grieving. The procedure uses bilateral stimulation to help the client enter a state in which afterlife communications occur. It is successful with 98% of the clients who experience it, and the clients’ grief reduces from high scores of 10 and 10 plus plus plus on a 10-point score for the disturbance of thoughts about the deceased loved one to 0, 1, or 2 in a single session.
